A book called "Cake Pop" by Bakerella (Angie Dudley) introduced to cake balls into cake pops; cute little cakes on a stick!
They all have the same things in common: cake, frosting, candy, and cute. They are tiny candy-covered confections made of crumbled cake mixed with frosting that can mold into different shapes and decorate for any occasion. They are super-sweet, extremely moist, and completely covered in candy coating.
The crumbled cake can be: vanilla cake-vanilla frosting, chocolate cake-chocolate frosting or red velvet cake-vanilla frosting.

Truffles
Truffle is the fruiting body of an underground mushroom. The original chocolate truffle, a French invention (1920s) was a ball of ganache, chocolate and creamy, flavored and rolled in cocoa. It was named after the precious black truffle fungus because of its physical resemblance. Today, the term truffle is often used to in America to describe any filled chocolate.

Brownies are America's favorite bar cookie (square). It's hard to believe that they began their life in a Sears, Roebuck and Co. catalog over 100 years ago (1897). Brownies are so named because of their dark brown color. They are often classified as fudgy or cakey.

Is a sweet meringue-based confection made with eggs, sugar and almond powder, filled with ganache, buttercream or jam. The name is derived from the Italian word macaroni, both mean "fine dough". The Macaron cookie was born in Italy, which was a simple cookie. At the begining of the 20th century, the macaron become a "double-decker". Laduree pastry in Paris, had the idea to fill them with chocolate ganache and to stick them together.
Alfajores
Alfajores in South America are a sweet sandwich cookie featuring a layer of dulce de leche in the middle of two sweet biscuits and coated with chocolate o sprinkled with powder sugar.
Mousse
A mousse is a prepared food that incorporates air bubbles to give it a light and airy texture. It can range from light and fluffy to creamy and thick, depending on preparation techniques. Dessert mousses are typically made with whipped egg white or whipped cream, and generally flavored with chocolate or puréed fruit.

Crème caramel is a variant of plain custard (crème) where sugar syrup cooked to caramel stage is poured into the mold before adding the custard base. It is usually cooked in a bain-marie on a stove top or in the oven in a water bath. It is turned and served with the caramel sauce on top. Our main ingredients are condensed milk, whole milk, eggs and sugar caramelized on top. This is so good, rich, and delicious.
